GENERAL INFORMATION

Arrangement of the main block of the relay and relay of the fan of a radiator on models with engines 5S-FE

The main block of the relay is located in a motor compartment from the driver. Models with air conditioning have the relay No. 2.

Check of resistance and arrangement of contacts of the relay of the fan of a radiator No. 1

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the relay of the fan of a radiator No. 1 and, using an ohmmeter, check resistance between contacts of the relay (see rice. Check of resistance and arrangement of contacts of the relay of the fan of a radiator No. 1). Resistance between contacts of the relay 1 and 2 and contacts 3 and 4 has to be minimum. When giving tension from the accumulator to contacts the 1 and 2 resistance between contacts 3 and 4 has to equal infinity.
2. If the relay of the fan of a radiator is serviceable, remove the main relay of the engine and check it (see rice. Check of resistance and arrangement of contacts of the relay of the fan of a radiator No. 1 and rice. Arrangement of contacts of the main relay of the engine). Resistance between contacts of the relay 3 and 5 and contacts 2 and 4 has to be minimum. Resistance between contacts 1 and 2 has to be equal to infinity. When giving tension аккумуля a Torah on contacts the 3 and 5 resistance between contacts of the relay 1 and 2 has to be minimum, and resistance between contacts 2 and 4 has to be equal to infinity.
