4.20. Installation of a back sealing ring of a bent shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Using a drift and the hammer, beat out a back sealing ring of a bent shaft from a back cover of a bent shaft. 2. Grease an external surface new back a sealant a leg of a ring of a bent shaft and, using wooden whetstone, establish a sealing ring in a back cover of a bent shaft.
3. Grease working edges of a sealing ring with pure engine oil. Install a back cover of a bent shaft on the block of cylinders. On four-cylinder engines the back cover of a bent shaft is established on laying, and on six-cylinder engines - on sealant. Fix a back cover of a bent shaft by bolts, having tightened them the required moment.
